Preventing Acne
Three Simple Steps to Acne Prevention
Wash Your Face
This is actually a very important and often overlooked part of acne prevention. If you suffer from acne you are likely to have oily skin, or areas that are oily. Make sure you cleanse your face twice daily. Use a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.
A very good daily skin care line the one based on mangosteen, as it has naturally occurring anti-inflammatory agents and it is a non-toxic skin care line. It is important not to put toxins on your skin daily. That is why, when you can, you should opt for a non-toxic daily skin care regime.
If you have more severe acne problems, then a more acne focused daily skin care regimen is in line. Here is one I would recommend.
Use Deep Cleansing Clay Masks
Using a deep cleansing clay mask once or even twice a week will also help prevent acne. It will get rid of the excess oil in your pores and in time even help reduce the pore size on your face.
If you have areas of your face that are extra dry make sure to use a clay mask that also hydrates while deep cleansing.
Topical Acne Solutions
An all time favorite among acne sufferers is the natural at home remedy. If you wake up with an acne outbreak you can use some highly acidic fruit, such as a lemon, as a topical solution. This is popular because it really works and it is very inexpensive. After cleansing and toning your face you put some of the fruit juice on the affected areas. A word of caution though… do not go out into the strong sunlight after you have put lemon juice on your skin. This may cause a temporary discoloration of the skin.
Another popular topical solution at home acne solution is green tea. Have a nice cup of green tea and then rub the warm bag on the infected skin.
Also make sure your hair is not in your face and try not to touch your face without washing your hands first.
